Well, here we are at the beginning of 2015. I certainly hope you and yours all had a fantastic Christmas and holiday time as we said goodbye to 2014. But, even if your life events haven’t been  “fantastic,” I hope you are still eager and ready to launch into 2015 believing that things can only go up from here!

Seriously Robby? You think you sit in a place to tell me to be “eager,” or to “believe?” How could you? You don’t know ANYTHING about where things stand for me!

Friend, you are right. I don’t know anything about where things stand for you. In fact, my life at the end of 2014 has been so crazy that I don’t really know where things stand for me! But, I do know the one who does know. And, I believe that what He knows about us, and has for us, is what is best for us. I believe that even when we can’t trace His hand, we can trust His heart. I also believe that He loves us like we would envision the most perfect of parents loving their children.

So, no matter what you’ve faced recently, I’d like to encourage you to join me in believing the best for 2015. Oh, I’m sure it will be full of challenges and struggles. But, I still believe that our Father, our Creator, our Daddy wants what is best for us. So, let’s look for His hand everyday in 2015. Let’s EXPECT to see Him in our daily routine, and our routine interactions with others. Let’s move, walk, drive, talk, and LIVE like we KNOW He is there! Because, I assure you, He IS there!

I think He is just waiting for us to look for Him so that he can make Himself known to us. I’m going to start trying to look harder. How about you?
